18^th August 2014 (Morning Prayer)

My little one,

Do not be afraid to choose the narrow pathway of the Lord. I go before you to light your path. Stay close to Me. Walk in the shadow of your Good Shepherd. Abide in Me as I abide in you. Love is My way. Do not pick and choose whom to love. I ask you again to love one another as I have loved you. Do not be afraid to die to self so you can rise up to live a new life led by the Spirit of God. Learn the lessons of true holiness – be obedient to the holy Will of God and always humble of heart and you will reap eternal rewards. Many seek to be in the limelight for all to notice them. This is not the way of the Lord. Work humbly in the background for the glory of God. Do not crave attention for self. Deny self and you will rise up to live a new life led by the Spirit of God. Listen and learn the ways of the Lord. Take time to be still and wait upon the Lord. Learn docility of spirit so you can hear more clearly the gentle whispering of the Holy Spirit of God. Take time each day to meditate on the holy Word of God. Will you not spend one hour with Me in stillness and prayer. Go to your secret place so we can be united as one. Take time in quiet contemplation with your Lord and God. Do not fill your day with doing of many things that you have no time to be still. Change the old ways. Embrace stillness. Do not fear the path of solitude and prayer. Be still and know that I am your Lord and God. I will guide you along the pilgrim path of faith. I will be your shelter from the storm. Trust in the love given to you by your Heavenly Father through Me, His Son by the grace of the Holy Spirit. Be holy and gentle of heart. Follow the holy way of the Lord.
