20th August 2008 (Night Prayer)
My dear children,
Do not fear the calling you have been chosen to undertake. You will face persecution and rejection from those in your community. Persevere in the missionary work of God’s love. I ask you to love the people who make quick judgments against you. Love the person not their actions. Look to Scripture to understand more fully that the path you take is the path of your Lord and Saviour. Read Mark 6: 1-6 and you will comprehend the meaning of the words “a prophet is not recognized in his home town.” Continue working humbly and in a background manner. Be constant and genuine in your little acts of love. Turn away from thoughts of retaliation when you experience rejection by those who are Christian in name only. Each one must eventually give account to the way they have lived their lives. Concentrate on your own journey. You will change the hearts of others by the Christ-like love you give freely to all. I ask you to cling to the corner of Jesus’ garment in the same way as the woman who had the haemorrhage. Jesus healed her because of her faith. You must grow stronger in your faith. You have been asked to trust in God the Father’s providence and love. Have faith my little ones and learn to rely more on God. You still try and rush and do everything by your own means without asking for Heavenly help. Pray and discern each decision you make which will have an affect on the work you do to further God’s Kingdom. Be patient when you do not receive the answer you want. I remind you again be still and wait upon your Lord and God. Receive all guidance from your Good Shepherd. Learn the discipline of doing this important work in God’s way and with God’s timing. Be more docile to the Spirit of God. Listen and learn the many lessons before you step out in the missionary work you have been called to do.
