22nd August 2008 (Night Prayer)
My dear children,
Patiently endure the little inconveniences of your day without bringing notice to the crosses you bear. Follow the path of the saints who have walked the path of purity before you. Look to them to give you the courage needed to endure the difficulties along the path you take towards your Heavenly inheritance. I ask you to run the long distance. Do not choose the path which is easy and short. You are called to be constant and enduring in your faith journey. Look to your commitment to your spiritual life. Do you take time each day to commune with your Lord and God or do you wait until you need some help and then pray in earnest? You must spend time daily in prayer and deep communion with your Lord and God for you to inherit life eternal. Do not want the fast solutions and easy rewards. You have been called to pick up your cross and follow Jesus. The cross is an important part of your journey. Divine love can be found through the cross of your Lord and Saviour. He emptied Himself completely and gave of Himself out of love for you and for all of God’s children. I encourage you this night to imitate His ways. Empty yourself of any selfishness and pride – all sins which keep you distant from the Divine love of God given through Jesus His Son. Die to the old patterns of self and rise to a new life of pure and holy love. Strip back the many layers of self and let the vulnerable child within be exposed so that you trust completely in God’s infinite love for you. Choose the path of holiness and you will be given Heavenly rewards beyond your human reckoning.
