18^th October 2014 (Morning Prayer)

My little one,

Love is My way. I ask you again to follow My holy way – love one another as I have loved you. Do not falter in your efforts of loving those who are put in your path each day. Forgive the weaknesses of others. Do not be blinded to your own faults but see so clearly the failings of others. Remove the plank from your own eye before you try and remove the splinter from your neighbour's eye. I am calling you to a new life of holy love – be slow to anger and rich in mercy. Embrace the fruits of the Spirit. Learn to be gentle of heart and compassionate to the needs of others. Show kindness and hospitality to your neighbour. Give generously of self with no expectation of return. Let go of any hidden expectations you have for others. Love with a selfless heart. The amount you measure out is the amount you will receive. Allow your cup to overflow continuously with holy love for all. Look beyond the hardened exterior to the hurting person within. Give glory to God by the humble and self-effacing way you live your life. Change the old impure ways. Purify your thoughts, the words you speak and your actions. Do not wait. Make the changes now. Be holy in body, mind and soul. Look to the commandment of love given to you – love your Lord and God with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your strength and love your neighbour as yourself. I repeat again to you. Love is My way. Follow the holy way of the Lord by embracing a servant's heart of holy love.
