20^th November 2014 (Morning Prayer)

My little one,
Do not be afraid for I go before you to light your path. Walk in the shadow of your Good Shepherd. Do not be tempted to go your own way. Surrender your will to the holy Will of God. Allow Me to guide you as you climb the holy mountain of the Lord. Let go of any old stubborn ways. Follow the holy way of the Lord. Love others with a selfless and generous heart. Do not bring the attention back to self. Allow the glory to always be given to the Lord your God. Take time each day to read the holy Word of God and to contemplate its deeper meaning. Pray for the gift of clear perception so you understand the ways of the Lord. Do not remain closed and at a distance from the Lord. Come back to Me with a contrite heart and be united as one with your Heavenly Father, through Me, His Son, by the grace of the Holy Spirit. Change the old patterns of self-sufficiency. Do not fear the call given to you to walk with the Lord into the unknown. Still your mind from worldly ways. I am asking you to trust in the Lord. I am your Good Shepherd. I will lead you along the pilgrim path. I will guide you to pastures green. Trust in the merciful love of your Lord and Saviour. Walk with me in the present moment. Do not let your thoughts constantly run ahead into the future of “what ifs”. You must learn to trust more. I will not abandon you in your hour of need. Will you step out of the boat and walk to the Lord? Keep your eyes fixed on Me. Doubt no longer but believe – you are looked after far beyond your understanding. Trust in the Lord always no matter the season.
