4th January 2014 (Afternoon Prayer)
My dear little one,
Walk with Me the desert path of faith.  Do not constantly seek the consolations of your spiritual life.  Give thanks when you receive these gifts of grace fro Heavenly Father.  Walk in the shadow of your Good Shepherd.  Do not fear this calling given to you to work humbly in the background for the glory of the Lord.  Do not be afraid to walk with Me the desert way.  You will learn many lessons when you walk the path of the holy way.  Endure the small difficulties of each day.  Many of God’s people seek only consolations and when the first sign of testing comes they fall away.  Plant the seed of faith in deep rich soil and water it well.  You are given many graces and blessings by the Lord when you walk the pilgrim path of faith.  Do not be afraid to be inconvenienced for the sake of your Lord and God.  Stay close to Me.  Take time to pray and discern the holy Will of God.  Remain in Me as I remain in you.  Go to your place of stillness and prayer so we can be united as one.  Come and spend time with the Lord in adoration.  Be still and know that I am your Lord and God.  Do not doubt My hidden presence.  I am with you always.  I have not abandoned you.  Trust in Me.  It is important for you to have this time with me.  I will reveal to you God’s plan of hope.  I will open your mind to the wonders of the Lord.  Come close to Me.  Do not remain at a distance.  Come and share with Me the thoughts you keep hidden, for I know your innermost thoughts.  Something you see to be a disaster is not that way at all.  You must learn to trust more fully in the love of your Heavenly Father given to you by Me, His Son through the grace of the Holy Spirit.  I am calling you to embrace a life of holy union.  Lean on Me and not on your own understanding.  Trust and believe in the love of the Lord.  You are loved far beyond your understanding.  Walk with Me moment by moment and I will reveal to you the mysteries of the kingdom of God.
