15th December 2008 (Night Prayer)
My dear children,
The time you are given on earth is so short compared to the time given in eternity. Do not waste a precious moment. Let your spiritual life flourish and bring forth abundant fruit which will have lasting effects for generations to come. Do not be afraid to face any trials. Give thanks because you can truly be called children of God. Allow the purification of your thoughts, words and deeds to happen so that you live every moment through the eyes of your Lord and God and are no longer blinded to the truth. The small crosses you bear are an integral part of your spiritual journey. Stay strong in your commitment to serve God in body, mind and soul. Love is the service you are called to. Love is the only way you will reach your spiritual destination – life eternal. Let go of the animosity you have for those who persecute you. You must turn the other cheek and forgive those who offend you. Let forgiveness and compassion be the humble way you live your life. You have been asked many times to imitate your Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ. He is all mercy, all compassion and all love. Look to your Good Shepherd to guide you. Let the merciful love which flows continuously from His heart flood your soul and flow out to all. Trust in His love. Do not say the prayers of Divine Mercy without thought or feeling. Meditate on these powerful prayers and truly mean the words “Jesus I trust in you”. Atonement must be made for the many sins which weigh so heavily upon the world as many of God’s children have chosen the path of selfishness and pride instead of God’s plan for each one to love your Lord and God with all your heart and to love your neighbour as yourself. Love is God’s way. Follow this path as a chosen servant of the little way of holy love.
