16th January 2009 (Night Prayer)
My dear children,
Do not be afraid. I am with you. Draw close to my Immaculate Heart and allow me to guide you to the most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Remain strong in your faith. The seed of faith must be planted in deep, rich soil for it to bear fruit which is lasting. Many begin their journey of faith with enthusiasm but then when they face the first trials fall away from their faith. The seed of faith has been planted in rocky ground and the roots are shallow. Others become disillusioned because they listen and are influenced by the voices of those who stumble in the darkness. These have let the weeds choke the seeds of faith. You must be prepared to take the more difficult path. Do not listen to those who try and distract you – those who mock you for the path you have chosen. Choose always the narrow path of salvation. Pray fervent prayers to your Heavenly Father through Jesus His Son to help you be prudent and wise – to help you have the courage and strength needed for you to persevere and to help you to be bold in your faith to give you the tenacity you need so that you fight for the injustices which abound in the world today. I ask you to pray for the right for life. Fight the good fight for those in your society who do not have a voice to be heard. Look to the symbolism of the golden butterfly you have been shown. You are called to live your life anew in the fullness of God’s love. You have also been chosen to fight for new life to come to know the fullness of God’s love. Many lives are lost each day and these little ones do not get the opportunity to live their lives to the full because of the selfishness and greed of others. Pray many prayers my children. Satan tries hard to break families apart. Offer many prayers for the healing of families. May all of God’s children turn away from sin and be faithful to the gospel. Forgive those who have hurt you and also seek forgiveness for the hurts you have caused to your Heavenly Father and to those around you. Be filled with God’s eternal love and let it flow out unceasingly to all.
