21st February 2009 (Night Prayer)
My dear little ones,
Do not give up when you face problems and adversities. Persevere through the darkness knowing that the light and love of your Lord and Saviour awaits you. Be tested and purified by facing each trial with a firmness of faith, flinging always to hope and be filled with holy love given to you by the Father through the Son with the Holy Spirit. Look to Abraham and the fervent faith he had. He trusted and surrendered to the Will of God. Read James 2: 14-23. Abraham was called a friend of God. Humbly submit to the Will of God. Be obedient to His precepts trusting in His plan for you and you too will earn the right to be called a friend of your Lord and God. Look also at the Scripture passage John 15: 12-17. You are called to love one another as Jesus loved you. Do not choose to love only the easy but instead love all. Pray always and ask for Heavenly help. Do not try and achieve this love by your own means but through the Spirit of God leading you. Jesus gave His life for all humanity to bring to birth a new covenant of love. Give of your lives selflessly in holy love. You are commissioned to go out and bear fruit. Plant the seed of faith in deep rich soil and water it well. Let the living water of the Holy Spirit strengthen you so that you lead a virtuous life full of love. Choose the narrow and less travelled path. Do not run away and hide. Step out boldly in faith and take heed of the words given to you “faith without good works is dead.
