22nd April 2009 (Morning Prayer - Jesus)
My dear friends,
Yes, you are my friends. Look to Scripture and the words I spoke. Read John 15: 8-17 and understand more deeply the meaning of the word friend. Give of yourself in a selfless way. You have been chosen as my disciple of holy love. Give glory to your Heavenly Father by committing to serve as a disciple of the little way and bear fruit which is everlasting. My little one I want all of you not just a small portion set aside each day but all of you. I want to be part of every decision you make. You have been asked to prepare a worthy dwelling place for your Lord and God – to be a temple of the Holy Spirit – a living stone of faith. Look to the words I spoke to Peter. I called him Cephas which means rock and I told him that upon this rock I would build my church. Will you be my rock – my strong hold? Will you stand solidly in faith against all adversities? I ask you to build my church brick by brick – stone by stone – rock by rock. You have been told to build your faith on strong foundations – on solid foundations which will last. Do not try and go out and serve without first completing your preparations – the foundations of discipline and commitment must first be built before you step out as my missionary servants of God’s love. Take this time my little ones to prepare well so that you bear fruit which will last. Do not be afraid to accept discipline and to have the tenacity to remain committed regardless of the adversities you face. Go my friend and bear fruit which is everlasting.
