24th April 2009 (Night Prayer)
My dear children,
Jesus is the gate to the sheepfold. All must come through the gate to inherit life eternal. Read Matthew 7:13-14. Many do not want the hard and narrow path but only the wide and easy way which leads them nowhere. You have been told many times the importance of climbing the holy mountain of the Lord. This is the narrow path. You have been asked to renounce the old ways of self and to pick up your cross and follow Jesus. Do not be always looking over your shoulder at the journey that others have chosen. Concentrate on your own spiritual journey. Do not lay dormant like the seed which does not have light and water to make it grow. Look to your Good Shepherd Jesus. He is the light you must draw strength from. From His heart flows a stream of living water you need to nourish you so that you grow stronger and eventually become a healthy, sturdy tree which bears fruit in abundance. Look again at John 15: 1-8 and understand for you to blossom and grow to the fullness which God has planned for you it is important for you to be pruned. All dead wood must be cut away for new growth to come forth. Do not want the easy way. Accept the desert path where the testing of your body, mind and soul will be accomplished. Do not rush this path. Walk moment by moment with your Lord and God and learn the many lessons to help you grow and bear fruit which is everlasting. Abide in Jesus as He abides in you.
