10th May 2009 (Night Prayer)
My dear little ones,
Many of you suffer greatly and you may feel a sense of isolation and aloneness on your spiritual journey. I understand your heartache and pain as I too carried a deep sadness in my heart as I watched my Son Jesus be mocked, rejected, persecuted and crucified. He was the lamb led to the slaughterhouse. He remained silent as he endured all these humiliations to bring to birth a new covenant of holy love between God and His people. Do not be afraid to climb the hill of Calvary as you journey down the path of purification. Blessed are you when people persecute you and speak all sorts of calumny against you yours is the Kingdom of God. Seek not earthly accolades and rewards but rewards which are eternal. Be silent when others speak words which are hurtful. Do not lash out with words of retaliation. Let the interior peace and joy of your Lord and Saviour fill your soul. Turn the other cheek. Be tolerant and endure the little thorns which you are given as this is your crown of righteousness. Accept these difficulties and offer up all your trials for the salvation of souls. You have been chosen to be a missionary servant of God’s love. Follow this little way of holy love serving others with a humble and loving heart. To live a life of righteousness is to be in full union with the Father through His Son Jesus by the grace of the Holy Spirit. To live in full union with the Father Son and Spirit is to be immersed fully in holy love, living as a child of God obeying His commandments and being steeped in truth. You are called to be witnesses of this truth. Live in truth, love all in truth and walk the path of truth. Read again Acts 1:8 and be prepared to deny yourself and pick up your cross to follow Jesus as a shining light of His love to all who are lost and alone in the darkness of sin and despair.
