15th August 2009 (Morning Prayer)
My dear little one,
The wide, easy road may seem to be the way to choose because it presents a false illusion of peace and happiness. This peace is not lasting and the search for happiness through worldly goods will soon fade and die away. The narrow, more difficult way will give you an interior peace and joy that the world cannot give to you. Put your main focus on the love of the Father through me His Son and you will be given the grace of the Holy Spirit to endure any difficulties. Stay close to me and I will turn your weaknesses into strengths. Do not run away and hide from the difficult decisions as each challenge you face in faith will strengthen you to walk the path not by your own means but by the Spirit of God leading you. Pray for the gift of right judgment to be given to you so that the choices you make are wise and you follow the Will of God. You must take time to examine your conscience and check the purity of the choices you have made. Discernment is an important tool to help you walk the narrow path towards your Heavenly inheritance of life eternal. The testing will purify you like gold is tested in the furnace. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit burn brightly and light the fire of love in the hearts of others. Be full of zeal as you humbly serve your Lord and God. Do not become disillusioned when you face daily struggles and difficult challenges. Play joyful songs of praise to lift your drooping spirit. You must remember that you are never alone. I am your Good Shepherd and I walk before you to light the path ahead. Stay in my light – do not be tempted to stray into the darkness. Let My Mother and yours reign as Queen of Peace in your heart. Celebrate her feast this day and let her humble obedience to God be an example to you in the daily choices you make as you work to further the Kingdom of God’s love to all those you meet. Let My Mother help you turn your tears of sorrow into tears of joy.
