19th August 2009 (Night Prayer)
My dear little ones,
Be constant in your faith. Do not seek only consolations and spiritual favours. I ask you to take the more difficult path. Will you suffer little inconveniences for your Lord and God? The desert experiences are vital to help you grow stronger in your faith. It is in the times of spiritual desolation that you will blossom and bloom and bear beautiful flowers of sanctity for the Lord. Let the sweet perfume of holiness permeate from you by the humble and background manner by which you live your life. Strip away the doubts and fears and trust in My love for you. The testing of My flock must happen so that you follow Me, your Good Shepherd with a pure heart. Many of My flock seek only the spiritual highs and become disillusioned and fall by the wayside when they experience trials and difficult moments. Your faith must be planted in rich and fertile soil and you must water it well. Stay close to My Sacred Heart and I will nourish and strengthen you. Do not fear the challenges each day brings. Do not listen to those who gossip and speak ill of others. You must learn to pray and discern for yourself. Test the spirit as satan is prince of darkness and he will tempt you to take the wide and easy path of the world. I, your Lord and Saviour was sent by the Spirit of God into the desert before my ministry began. Satan tempted Me to take the easy path. Stay close to Me, My little ones and I will guide you to the sheepfold. Listen and learn from Me as I am meek and humble of heart and My words will give you eternal life. Test the spirit in the important work you are called to do in furthering the Kingdom of God. Be patient and wait upon your Lord and God. Before the dawn is the darkest part of the night. Wait with expectation for the light to dawn. I am the Light and I will light the lamp of faith in the hearts of many. Be ready to be My instrument of light. The harvest is plentiful and the labourers so few. Prepare to go out into the field to bring in a harvest which is hundredfold.
