13th March 2012 (Morning Prayer)
My dear little one,
Do not be afraid to return to a more simple way of living. I have asked you to make hospitality your special care. Many of God’s people have become so caught up in the busy ways of the world that they have forgotten how to reach out in love to their neighbour. Your hospitality must be given with selfless intentions. Look to the story of Martha and Mary. Martha was complaining about her sister’s lack of help. Do not continually look at the work load of others and make comparisons to your own. Serve the Lord your God with a heart that is holy and pure. I am calling you to choose the path of holiness not the path of self that the world entices you to take. It is time to let go of any self pity and take up the challenge given to you to be My servant of the little way. Be silent and enduring as you carry your small crosses each day. I have asked you to pick up your cross, deny self daily and follow Me as you climb the holy mountain of the Lord. Look to Scripture to help you understand. Read Isaiah 53: 4-7. I gave My life as a ransom for the sins of mankind. God your loving Father so loved the world that He gave Me His only Son so that everyone who believes in Me may not be lost but will have eternal life. Return to living your life more simply. Love your Lord and God with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself.
