16th March 2012 (Morning Prayer)
My dear little one,
I am calling you to return to a more simple way of life. Do not rely on worldly ways for these are passing. The way of the world is the way of self. Many follow the path of self glory. I have asked you to give glory to God by the humble way you live your life. Be careful that you do not make false gods out of technology and worldly goods. Many crave worldly possessions and prestige as proof to others of their success. These mean nothing in God’s eyes. Put your house in right order. Do not cling to worldly possessions. Read Matthew 6: 19-21. Store up treasures for yourself in Heaven. Examine your conscience and see what treasure it is that you have stored up – for where your treasure is so too is your heart. Follow the commandment given to you to love your Lord and God with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself. Go back to a more simple way of living. Reach out in hospitality to your neighbour. I have asked you to be My hands, My feet, My heart of holy love. To go back to a life of simplicity does not mean you will be taking the wide, easy path. I have asked you to follow My way. You have been called to pick up your cross, renounce self daily and follow your Lord and God. You will be given graces to help you. Trust in My love for you. Take time to be still and listen to the gentle whispering of God’s Spirit. Choose the path of holiness. Be holy as I your Lord and God am holy.
