2nd March 2012 (Morning Prayer)
My little one,
Do not be full of fear with all you hear that is happening in the world today. Cling to the corner of My garment. Remember what I have told you – I have overcome the world. Continue to work diligently for the glory of God. You will be protected from the snares of the evil one. Stay close to Me and follow My ways. Be obedient to the Divine Will of God. Strip back the layers of self will and humbly accept God’s Will. Look to the words I spoke in Gethsemane “let your Will be done not mine”. You too, are asked to deny self and follow the Will of God. Be docile to the Spirit of truth leading you on the path of righteousness. Take time in quietness to listen to God’s Spirit. The Holy Spirit has been given to you as a precious gift to be your Advocate and guide. Look again at Scripture 1John 5: 5-12. God your loving Father wants all to receive the gift of eternal life. You are loved by God beyond any human comparison. You have heard in the Scripture passage that there are three witnesses – the blood, the water and the Spirit. I died (shedding My blood) and rose again on the third day to bring to birth God’s New Covenant of love. I told the disciples I would leave them My Advocate the Spirit of truth to help them. You too, must die to self and rise up to live a new life that is pleasing to God. Each one is called to be washed in the water of Baptism and is conferred with the gifts of the Holy Spirit in Confirmation and receives My Body and Blood in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Come, do not delay – come to the altar of the Lord your God and receive these gifts of grace. Come and receive Me into the temple of your heart. Prepare a worthy dwelling place for your Lord and God. Let the love of the Father given to you by Me His Son flow out like a river from you by the grace of the Holy Spirit. All that is given to you freely by God must not be kept to self but must be given out to others. As you receive freely so too you must give freely.
