24th April 2012 (Morning Prayer) My dear little one, Give glory to God in the duties you perform each day. Do not seek Heavenly consolations but instead be prepared to take the narrow and more difficult path. You will be given rewards from Heaven as you climb the holy mountain of the Lord. Give thanks for all you receive. Do not be blind and overlook God’s generosity. Pray with a fervent heart for the coming of God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven. Be prepared to endure the difficulties that come your way. Offer these moments up for the salvation of souls. Many in the world today have chosen the path of perdition. Work humbly in the background as a beacon of light to show those who are stumbling in the darkness the way to life eternal. I want you to be a bridge of hope – a stepping stone for those who are lost in the wilderness of sin. Show these people of darkness the path they need to choose by the humble and obedient way you live your life. It is not by many words that people will be changed but by your selfless actions of holy love. I have asked you to die to self so that you can rise up to live a new life led by the Spirit of God. Be joyful in your ministry of holy love. Do not dwell on the difficult moments but instead look to the moments of joy you experience in your daily lives. Sing songs of joy to life your drooping spirits. Find joy by living the simple way. All of God’s people will be called to return to a more simple way of life. Make the most of this time you are given to remove the clutter and put your life in right order. Choose the little way for you have read in Scripture the words “anyone who exalts himself will be humbled and anyone who humbles himself will be exalted.
