18th May 2012 (Morning Prayer) My little one, Endurance and long suffering are needed, for the times you live in are difficult. Take time to pray and discern God’s Will. Do not run ahead of Me. When you rush you do your own will. You have heard in Scripture that God was found not in the roaring wind but in the gentle breeze. The roaring wind creates havoc and destruction where it blows. The gentle breeze refreshes the people. Pray to be refreshed and renewed of God’s Spirit. Do not race ahead like the roaring wind creating havoc where you go, for this is not following the Will of God. Look to the first Pentecost. Read Acts 1:8. You will receive the power of the Holy Spirit. You must be tested and purified of your old patterns of self will first. Surrender your strong will to the Divine Will of God. Endure the small crosses of each day and you will be given a strength not of this world but a spiritual strength to sustain you in your moments of difficulty. Lean on Me not on your own understanding. Do not try and do God’s work by your own means. Examine your conscience. Are you giving glory to God by the example of your daily life? Turn away from the pattern of selfishness the world encourages you to choose. Purify your thoughts, words and deeds. Die to self and you will rise up to live a new life led by the Spirit of God.
