23rd June 2012 (Morning Prayer) My dear little one, You heard the Scripture passage from Matthew 6: 24-34 today. You have read the words “set your mind on God’s Kingdom first, and on His righteousness and all these other things will be given to you as well”. You must take heed of these words in the time to come. Trust in God’s providence no matter what is happening around you. Put the love of God as first and reach out in love to your neighbour. How do you love your neighbour? Return to the old ways of simplicity. Reach out in hospitality to your neighbour. Give without expectation of return; for the gifts you give must be given with pure intentions. Do not have hidden agendas of self. Follow the path of righteousness not the path of self that the world encourages you to take. Learn to be a true disciple of your Lord and God. I have told you many times to clean the interior first, for holiness comes from within you. Do not mistake false piety for holiness. Be content to work humbly for your Lord and God in the background. Do not seek self glory. Let all the glory and praise be given to God by the humble way you live your life. Accept the last seat not the place of honour. Make the preparations now while you have this hour of grace. Do not wait until the last moment. Learn the lessons of faith that will hold you in good stead for the time ahead. Be holy as I your Lord and God am holy.
