2nd June 2012 (Morning Prayer) My little one, You are not alone for I, your Good Shepherd walk the pilgrim path with you. I am with you until the end of time. Stay close to Me. Let Me be your shelter from the storm. Trust in My merciful love for you and for all of God’s children. Many of God’s people have chosen the path of darkness. They seek worldly ways to fulfil their lives. This type of life is not lasting. Do not store up earthly treasures that are here today but gone tomorrow. Store up treasures that are everlasting. Look to where your heart is for you will find that where your treasure is so will your heart be also. Purify your heart from selfishness and pride. Put your life in right order. Do not run from one project to another but learn the lessons of stillness. Take time to contemplate the holy Will of God. Take time to be still and learn to wait upon the Lord. Take time to listen to the gentle whispering of God’s Spirit. Do not rush ahead by your own means. There are still many lessons for you to learn. Take time in stillness and prayer. Make sure you discern God’s Will instead of impulsively following your own will. Give glory to God by the humble and obedient way you live your life. Do not be afraid to choose the path of discipline for this is the path of wisdom that leads you to life eternal. Let go of your arrogance in wanting to do God’s work your own way. Remember the words of Scripture – pride come before a fall. Humble your heart. Do not let the words you pray be empty promises. Pray with a sincere heart the prayer “here am I Lord, I come to do your Will”.
