7th June 2012 (Morning Prayer) My little one, Be patient and persevering. Do not let satan get a foothold in the door because of the trials you face. Remember the words I have often spoken “in the world you will have trouble, be brave for I have overcome the world”. Endure these small difficulties, offering your inconveniences for the salvation of souls. Look at the words of the Beatitudes to help you live a holy life. Do not put on a false coat of piety but clean the interior of all pride and selfishness so that you can grow interiorly in holiness. Give glory to God by the way you live your life. When you are mocked and persecuted do not retaliate for each one will be answerable to how they have lived their lives. To those who are given more is expected of them, to those given on trust even more will be expected of them. Have endurance to last the long distance, for you live in difficult times where families have been torn apart. Forgive those who offend you and also seek forgiveness for the offences you have committed. Turn away from the worldly pattern of putting self as the most important. I have asked you to deny self and you will rise up to live a new life led by the Spirit of God. Be still and learn to ask for Heavenly help. Do not rush ahead by your own means. It is time to change the parts of your life that are consumed with self glory. Pride is the downfall of many. Be humble and self-effacing and you will inherit the keys to the Kingdom of God.
