10th August 2008 (Night Prayer)
My dear children,
Praise be the name of Jesus true God and true man. I ask you to give praise, honour and thanks to your Lord and God for His Divine Providence. Look to the many times during your day when you experience His generosity. Do not be ignorant to God’s bountiful love for you. I ask you this night to learn to utilize the resources you are given. Do not be wasteful. God’s children have been given an abundance and many have become wasteful with the amount they have been given. Share with one another all you have. Create little communities of faith, hope and love and learn to help one another in your every day lives. This is the simple life you are asked to embrace. Look to ways you can reuse the goods you have. Turn away from the ways of the world where items are disposal and nothing has value. Learn to use the gifts you are given by utilizing all of God’s creation to further His Kingdom. The world has become unbalanced where some have an over abundance of material wealth and selfishly keep it to themselves and others are poor and crying out for help. Follow Scripture especially look to the passage where you are called to reach out to the suffering, to the poor and disadvantaged and to share what you have been given. God the Father has given you in abundance. Do not selfishly keep your possessions but learn to be selfless and giving. Jesus gave Himself completely so you would have life anew. I ask you to follow your Lord and Saviour and give yourself completely in holy love to others.
