10^th October 2014 (Morning Prayer)

My little one,

Do not be afraid for I go before you to light your path. It is important that you listen to the prompting given to you by the Spirit of God. Be docile and take time in stillness and prayer to understand the holy way of your Lord and God. Walk in the shadow of your Good Shepherd. The Chosen people of God were guided by a cloud in the day and a fire at night. Read Exodus 13: 21-22. Do not be tempted to run ahead of the Lord. Take time each day to pray and discern the holy Will of God. Be patient and persevering as you walk the pilgrim path of faith. Surrender your strong will to the holy Will of God. Work humbly in the background to give glory to God. Do not seek glory and recognition for self. Allow the glory to be given to the Lord your God. Change the old impure ways. Choose the path of the true disciple. Read also John 10: 1-5. I am your Good Shepherd. I go before you to light your path. Do not be tempted to stray from the narrow path into the wide world of selfish pleasure. Stay near to Me. Let Me guide you to pastures green and to restful waters to revive your drooping spirit. Take time each day with the Lord. I am the Good Shepherd. I laid down My life for My sheep. Will you follow in the footsteps of the Lord? Will you die to self so you can rise up to live a new life led by the Spirit of God? Now is not the time to be lukewarm and complacent in your faith. Now is the time of testing. Make the most of this time of grace you have been given. Do not be afraid to walk the desert path, for it is in your desert times that you will experience much spiritual growth. Choose the path of true holiness. Walk the holy way of the Lord.
