21st August 2009 (Afternoon Prayer)
My dear little one,
Trust and believe in God’s plan of hope for you. Do not have doubts and fears but be prepared to trust even when you are unsure of what is to come. You have been asked to walk moment by moment with Me your Lord and Saviour. Do not rush ahead trying to predict God’s plan. Wait upon the Lord. You will be told when the time is right. You must take time to prepare yourself in body, mind and soul. Discipline and docility to the Spirit of God are an important part of this preparation. If you run ahead and try and do God’s work by your own means you are not following the Will of God. God’s ways are so different to the ways of mankind. Pray and discern God’s Will and then be patient and wait. God’s Will is done in gentleness. Do not allow your own freewill to influence your decision making. You have been told if you ask you will receive, if you seek you will find and if you knock the door will be opened for you. Your prayers are powerful and are used in the salvation of souls. Be selfless in your thoughts, words and deeds. Your prayers must also be selfless and giving. Do not seek personal gain from your prayers. I have asked you to give of yourself in agape love. This self-giving love is necessary for you to grow deeper in your spiritual life. Look to St. Therese – my little flower of love - and follow her little way of holy love. Be my servant of the little way, serving others selflessly instead of seeking for others to serve you. Remain silent when you are hurt by others and offer these little thorns for the salvation of souls. I ask you this night will you be my little rose of holy love? Let the sweet perfume of selflessness be given as an offering of love to God your loving Father through coming close to Me His Son and you will receive the abundant grace of the Holy Spirit to help you to continue to climb the holy mountain of your Lord and God.
