22nd August 2009 (Night Prayer)
My dear little one,
Listen and learn from Me, your Lord and Saviour. There are many mysteries of the Kingdom of God for you still to learn. Take time away from the crowd and spend this time in stillness and prayer. Do not seek the spiritual highs and consolations but be docile to the Spirit of God and give all glory, praise and honour to God when you are given graces to sustain you. You have been called to wear the crown of righteousness by the humble way you live. Let the small thorns you bear silently form a crown to help Me, your Lord and God in the salvation of souls. It is not the consolations you receive that are of benefit in the redemptive work of God’s Kingdom but it is instead the call I give you to renounce yourself, pick up your cross and follow Me. All your selfless acts of mercy, compassion and love help in the restoration of God’s love. Many of God’s people have lost their way and search for worldly possessions to give them happiness. True happiness can only be found through experiencing the infinite love of God the Father given to you through Me His Son by the grace of the Holy Spirit. God’s love for you was so enduring that He sent Me, His only Son to die for the sins of all mankind. You are loved beyond any earthly comparison. Do not search for rewards of this life but seek the higher gift – seek the rewards of life everlasting. Do not forget to give thanks to God for His generosity to you. He gives you many graces and consolations to help you grow into a trusting child of God. Trust and believe more fully in God’s Divine providence given to you. Give thanks with a grateful heart full of love for God and for your neighbour also.
