2nd May 2012 (Night Prayer) My little one, Take time in stillness and prayer to understand the holy Will of God. It is in your time of quiet reflection and contemplation that you will hear the gentle whispering of God’s Spirit. Many of God’s people do not make any time in their day for stillness and prayer. I call you to follow the way of your Lord and God. I went to a quiet place to spend time with My Father in prayer. You too, must set aside time in quiet prayer away from the noise of the world. Do not be afraid to experience this time of solitude. You are not alone. I walk the desert path with you. Come to Me with all your burdens and I will give you rest for your soul. It is important to be disciplined in your prayer time for this is the way you will grow deeper in your spiritual journey. Do not try and work for the Lord your God by your own means. Take time to discern the ways of your Lord and God, for My ways are different to your ways. Learn to be obedient in all you do, whether it is a small task or when you are called to obey God in the bigger parts of your journey. Do not try and manipulate the situation to suit your own purpose. I have asked you to accept the last seat not the place of honour. Learn the lessons of true humility. Be humble of heart and accepting of the small crosses you are called to bear. Purify your heart and you will be given eternal rewards. Love your Lord and God with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself.
